Peter has extensive experience as team leader on complex and multi-disciplinary projects for private developers, local authorities and state government clients. Peter has been involved in the design and delivery of substantial infrastructure projects, including highways and airports. Project roles have included public participation phases, rigorous economic analysis and negotiation of strategies and funding with government authorities.
Few others enjoy the very special relationship Peter Bowyer has with the key authorities including the Water Corporation, Western Power, including many local authorities, and the Department of Water. There are few other consultants in Perth with such a strong connection to the very highest and in fact all levels of each authority.
As a UDIAWA Councillor; their “Lead – Technical Projects,” and an observer on both its Infrastructure and Urban Water Committees. In 2008 he was recognised with the award of life member of the UDIA. One of just fourteen in WA.
Peter is a leader in industry to challenge conventional thinking about managing groundwater levels, the amount of sand fill, site classifications, development costs and many current engineering practices. He can bring that knowledge and expertise to any development and it is essential to do so because it will always be a critical success factor.
